Q: So, what exactly is a 'credit'?
A: A credit allows you to post one item for sale on the site. Simply, one credit = one posting.

Q: How much does it cost to sell my beer memorabilia items on
A: Unlike other expensive auction sites our pricing is static. We don't charge one price to list an item, and come back and gouge you later when you sell it! Our introductory package is just $20 for 10 credits. That will allow you to post 10 items for sale at only $2 each posting, and the price drops by purchasing larger blocks of credits.

Q: Do credits expire?
A: Credits will not expire for at least 5 years from the date of purchase. In fact, our policy is that as long as the site is live your credits will not expire, but we need to have an expiration in effect to protect us. If you choose to close your account and have unused credits they will automatically expire at the time you close your account. If your account is terminated for violation of our terms your credits will also expire.

Q: Can I give my credits to someone else? Are they transferrable?
A: No, credits are not transferrable. You are not able to give them to a friend, sell them to the highest bidder or in any way transfer ownership of your credits.

Q: How much does it cost to purchase an item?
A: does not charge you anything to purchase an item - the price is set by the seller and the transaction is between you. We only require that you register and agree to the terms of use in order to purchase an item.

Q: What do I do if someone tries to rip me off?
A: As with any transaction there is always the possibility that someone will try to take advantage of the other party. There is always a legal recourse, and in the case of there is the possibility that a user will be banned if they do not operate in an above-board fashion. Although not currently set up yet, we are developing a 'feedback' section for users that will assist future buyers and sellers.

Q: How do I get paid?
A: Payment types are up to you, the seller. We are currently set up to let you choose credit card, PayPal, cash, check or money order and are working on adding additional payment options as we develop tools for you to implement them.

Q: Is shipping calculated automatically?
A: Yes, there are shipping calculator APIs available for FedEx and UPS. You can choose to either utilize those or choose to ship via a flat rate of your choosing.

Q: Can I list a bottle or can that is still sealed?
A: There are special rules for posting these items which is also spelled out on our terms page:
Special Rules for Posting Unopened Bottles/Cans for Sale
When using a credit to post an unopened (still sealed) bottle or can for sale, the seller MUST understand and comply with all of the following points:
  1. Item for sale must NOT be currently available in the retail market
  2. Item for sale MUST be at least 12 months old (from date of release)
  3. It is unlawful to ship any alcoholic liquids via USPS
  4. The following will be added to any posting for unopened bottles/cans:
Note that the following applies to still sealed containers:
  • All items are not available at any retail outlet, and the container value substantially exceeds the current retail price of alcohol in the container.
  • All items listed were relased at least 12 months ago.
  • By bidding you acknowledge that you are over the age of 21 and are legally allowed to purchase these items.
  • The container has not been opened and any incidental contents are not intended for consumption.
  • The Value of the item is in the collectible container, not its contents.
  • The seller will take all appropriate steps to ensure that the buyer is of lawful age in the buyer's and seller's jurisdiction (generally 21 years of age).
  • Buyers and sellers both ensure that the sale complies with all applicable laws and shipping regulations.
Q: How do I report items that violate the terms?
A: When you are logged in, there is a 'Report this Item' button at the bottom of the page that will allow you to report items that you suspect violate our terms. We will review the item and remove it if the item violates our terms.

Q: If I delete a listing, will I lose my credit?
A: Unfortunately we do not allow users to delete a listing and receive a credit back, effective July 25 2017. Some users abused this to the extent we are no longer allowing a refund of the credit.

Q: Can I edit my listings?
A: Yes, you are free to edit your listings during the first 24 hours after your listing is posted. After that you are still free to edit all fields except the description and title. Any gross changes (such as changing the listing to reflect a completely different item or items) can result in the listing being deleted for abuse of our system.

Q: What are 'Ratings'?
A: Next to a user's name you will often see a number, in parenthesis. This number is that person's rating. Their rating reflects the reputation they have acquired through interactions between users on the site.

Q: How do I rate another user?
A: Once you have bought an item from or sold an item to another user, you will be provided with the ability to rate that transaction. The rating you give will immediately affect their visible global rating reputation throughout the site. Be careful, however. You can also be rated back.

Q: I bought an item, so why can't I make a rating?
A: After buying an item, you will need to finalize your transaction by selecting your method of payment, and preferred shipping service. After this, you'll be able to place a rating for the transaction on that item's page.
